VILLAGE OF CHAGRIN FALLS
BOARD OF CEMETERY TRUSTEES
October 14, 2009

Members present: Trace, White, Hecker
Also present: Buddenhagen, Snedeker

The meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Chairman Larry Trace.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Moved by Mr. Hecker, seconded by Mrs. White that the minutes of the meeting held August 12, 2009 be approved. The motion carried unanimously.

QUIT-CLAIM REQUESTS

Mr. Trace presented to the Board a quit-claim request from Stanley J. Law of Columbia, South Carolina. After discussion, a motion was placed on the floor by Mr. Trace and seconded by Mr. Hecker to approve the quit-claim request. The motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Trace presented to the Board a quit-claim request from Catherine Podojil of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. After lengthy discussion, the Board tabled this request until further information can be obtained.

MISCELLANEOUS

There was discussion regarding putting in a memorial garden and walkway in Evergreen Hill Cemetery. People could spread their loved ones ashes in the garden and purchase a stone. Several concerns were brought up such as irrigation, maintenance, and deer.

There was brief discussion regarding expansion in 2010.

The meeting adjourned at 10:40 a.m.
