The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mr. Watterson.

WHITESBURG PARK SHELTER HOUSE

Mr. Watterson said since there is not a quorum, no action will be taken.

Mr. Watterson explained that Henry Bruner, 600 North Street, has asked the Village if they would be willing to give him some rights to this property. Mr. Bruner has proposed that the Village consider the sale and purchase by him for all or some of the property or lease to occupy and use all or some of the property. Mr. Watterson said another option for the Village is to demolish the structure for safety purposes.

Mr. Bruner presented his case and advised that just to repair the roof of the structure, without doing anything inside, would cost between $14,000 and $20,000. He said he has submitted an appraisal of the entire parcel to the Village.

Mr. Watterson asked what the advantage is to the Village to give up this property? Mr. Bruner said it is surplus property. He said he wants to build a garage on this property.

Mr. Bruner said he would like to be on the Council agenda in September.

The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
